1. Scope and operator
This Privacy Policy applies to ServiceSelfies.com and related pages, features, and presentation experiences operated by Member Minder Pro, LLC ("MMP," "we," or "our"). ServiceSelfies.com is a public discovery and engagement layer for community-service content created through the Ignite app.
2. Information we collect
Information we receive from Ignite
ServiceSelfies.com may receive information associated with a service post, including:
- the poster's name, club, service organization, district, zone, region, and general location;
- photos, videos, alternative text, captions, hashtags, and posting date;
- public engagement information such as likes, comments, and share counts; and
- stable record identifiers needed to display, update, filter, and prevent duplicate records.
We receive only the data configured for this public experience. Account credentials and authentication remain within Ignite and are not displayed on the public feed.
Information generated through use
When you use the site, we and our service providers may collect IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, access time, pages viewed, searches, and interactions with posts or site controls.
Information you provide
We collect information you choose to send when you contact us, make a privacy request, communicate with sales, or otherwise correspond with MMP. If you schedule through Calendly, Calendly collects the information you submit under its own terms and provides scheduling details to us.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve ServiceSelfies.com;
- display, synchronize, search, filter, sort, and present service content;
- support engagement features and remember user-selected states where appropriate;
- understand performance, diagnose errors, prevent fraud or abuse, and protect users;
- respond to questions, rights requests, and legal notices;
- plan relevant sponsored content and measure ad or campaign performance in aggregate; and
- comply with law, enforce our Terms of Use, and protect rights, safety, and property.
4. Public content and visibility
ServiceSelfies.com is designed for public viewing. A post may show a person's name, service affiliation, general location, media, caption, hashtags, and engagement. Visitors may view, copy links to, capture, or share content outside the site.
the person or organization submitting it is responsible for obtaining any permission needed from recognizable people, including a parent or guardian when required for a minor.
If content should no longer be public, contact the organization responsible for the source record or email legal@serviceselfies.com. Removing a source record may not remove copies already shared or retained in lawful backups and caches.
5. When we disclose information
We may disclose information:
- Publicly, as part of the service post and engagement experience described above;
- within MMP and Ignite, to synchronize records, authenticate eligible actions, provide support, and administer the service;
- to clubs and service organizations, when they manage or are responsible for the related source content;
- to service providers, such as hosting, security, analytics, content delivery, email, and scheduling vendors that process information for us;
- for legal and safety reasons, when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, enforce terms, and protect rights, personal safety, the organization, MMP, or the public; and
- in a business transaction, subject to appropriate protections, if MMP is involved in a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of relevant assets.
We require service providers to use information for the contracted purpose and protect it appropriately.
6. Advertising and sponsored content
ServiceSelfies.com may display labeled sponsored content from MMP products, MMP customers, nonprofit partners, and approved service-aligned organizations. We do not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Sponsored content may be selected using contextual information such as the page being viewed, the service topic, organization, or broad geographic context represented in public feed content. We do not use sensitive personal information to target advertising. If these practices materially change, we will update this policy and provide choices required by applicable law.
7. Cookies, local storage, and browser signals
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for essential operation, security, preferences, performance measurement, and analytics. Browser settings can block or delete these technologies, although some features may then work differently.
Because there is not a uniform industry response to "Do Not Track" signals, the site does not respond to them. Where required by applicable law, we recognize supported opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, for the practices to which the signal applies.
Links to third-party services, including Calendly, take you to services governed by their own privacy policies.
8. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain accurate synchronized records, fulfill the purposes described here, meet contractual or legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by record type. Ignite or a service organization may retain the upstream source record under separate requirements.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed for the nature of the information we process. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so users should avoid placing sensitive personal information in public captions, comments, or media.
9. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live and legal exceptions that may apply, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, or portability of personal information; learn about categories of disclosure of personal information for a business purpose; withdraw consent, opt out of targeted advertising or profiling; and appeal a decision concerning a request.
Submit a request to legal@serviceselfies.com. Describe the information or post involved and the right you wish to exercise. We may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Because some information originates in Ignite or an organization-managed record, we may coordinate with the organization or record owner when you ask us to update or correct information the source system directs us to the appropriate contact.
10. Children
ServiceSelfies.com is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13. If you believe a child's information appears without appropriate authorization or consent, contact us and we will investigate and take appropriate action.
11. International use and transfers
MMP is based in the United States, and ServiceSelfies.com may have organizations and service-related information stored or processed in the United States and other locations where MMP or its service providers operate. Where required, we will use lawful mechanisms and safeguards appropriate for cross-border transfers.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service, data practices, or applicable law. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
